Castle is probably one of my favorite shows… in many ways because the main character is a writer and he sees the world through how he would write it in a book… and as many mystery shows as I’ve watched after a while they all become the same, but this one has it’s quirky ways… but it is all fictional… Richard Castle isn’t a real person, much less a real author… so when I came across Heat Wave by Richard Castle you can imagine how confused I was… I definitely got down to some research to find that a ghost writer had written the book based on the show and as far as I can tell no one knows who the real writer is… but whoever he is, he did a great job…

BOOK 1: Heat Wave 4 STARS
fun and exciting… I have to say I loved the show, Castle, and although I love those kinds of shows I’m not a big fan of mystery novels… but this book was awesome and for a lot of reasons because it does sound like Richard Castle… and you can see bits of the characters and even lines he would’ve been inspired by Kate Beckett to write… the story was definitely a tangled web of mystery… the ending took me by complete surprise… it was a very fast paced story… always something happening and new leads to follow and a bit of romance to spice it all up… I say if you like the show or just like mystery novels you definitely should check this book out..
