This was a very interesting take on the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale and yet it really all did make sense why someone involved in the holocaust would see the story through such a fantastical tale… at first I was trying to figure out what was going on… is it really a fairy tale… is any of it real… is the grandma just crazy? and as Becca hunts down her grandmother’s past and everything begins to unravel you really get taken on just an amazing story into really dark territory… There are several parts that are really disturbing and though this is supposedly for young adults I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone too young because of some of the things talked about… but it is a really great book that I think any one of appropriate age would appreciate…
