When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter who may have information as to her grandmother’s whereabouts, she is loath to trust this stranger, but is inexplicably drawn to him, and he to her. scarletBOOK 2: Scarlet    5 STARS

While at first I hated how on the nose it was about which fairy tale this book is… because I loved how cleverly the elements appeared in Cinder… I mean in the first chapter you meet Scarlet in a red hood whose grandmother is missing and suddenly a guy named Wolf shows up, who may or may not have anything to do with the missing grandmother… but it ended up having a lot of twists and insane surprises that it turned out an amazing book… There was a good balance in the story between Scarlet and Cinder and what was happening with both of them… it was interesting how it all ended up coming together and knowing more about Cinder’s past… Thorne also added a nice bit of humor to the tale while Wolf helped give more insight into the Lunar life… altogether it was a great next step…
